Problems Ahead
The problem with the "hardware" lies in the way the US delivers power to customers. In Europe, many houses share a transformer, so providing internet there is easier (internet signals cannot pass through a transformer) - the US doesn't set things up that way. Each transformer must be fitted with "repeaters" to get the internet signal across.

My "problem" is that when the power goes out, my VoIP phone STILL doesn't work . . . wink
