- Am looking for how to fix that e-mail box filling German virus?

I had 120 hits to my Outlook Express since May 15 with those phoney e-mail addresses something was trying to be sent to but not by me.
The postmaster culprits allowing this to happen so far are:
postmaster@ireq.ca
ad.gannett.com
tech-mail.com
mailer-daemon@mfe1.prod.danger.com
mail delivery system
internet mail delivery
Should IP postmasters be checking all mail being sent for viruses before it gets into the mainsteam internet highway and effects everyone else?
I am sure most of this was caused by a virus called "sober".
Norton Anti Virus 2005 scans my Outlook Express e-mail for viruses or is supposed to be? What are we Symantec paying for if it's not going to do it's job?
Same question with Ad-Aware6... am trying to get it to upgrade unsuccessfully.
Last time "SoBig32" virus came out it cost me my computer. I am losing faith in these personal computers all the expenses, down time. DSL costs, anti-virus/anti-spyware costs, IP membership costs.
This has become one damn expensive, overpriced and constantly troublesome communication tool for the hearing and speech disabled who can no longer afford it. It costs as much a month to have an operate as it does to eat!
Man I am sick of having to make fixes nearly week after week just so I can e-mail friends, family, governmental agencies and explore the commercial internet highway for information a few hours ever couple of days.
