The next operating system for smartphones
The next operating system for smartphones, that will replace the actual version Windows Mobile 2003 SE, will be Windows Mobile 2005 (Magneto), with a QVGA screen (240x320 pixels).

Nick Jones and John Girard, two of the main analysts from Gartner, estimate that once the operating system Magneto is launched, Symbian will be in a lot of trouble. The Microsoft system will be launched in the third trimester or fourth trimester of this year.

Jones believes that although Symbian is very popular, the situation will reverse once Magneto is launched. This new version will solve a series of flaws and bugs of the current Microsoft system for smartphones.

Let's wait and see if Microsoft will come with a good OS for our future mobile phones. Without many bugs like in Windows OS for our computers...
