I remember McAfee's original ASaP virus protection ...
... performing an "automagic" push of an update to several of my customers who were running Novell 4.x. Printing was stopped on every workstation that performed the update. McAfee had it fixed after a day or so, and they offered to replace ASaP with stand-alone licenses for VirusScan at every site we requested.

I am REALLY distrustful of this "automagic" updating, but it looks like EVERYBODY is doing it these days ... and then, of course, they blame the poor SysAdmins.
