Trend Micro customers suffer weekend mayhem

What Company?

I work for a small company that uses the TM Client/Server suite. Yes this particular update did cause problems, and yes we were in on the weekend to fix the 50+ clients. But in the defense of automatic updates through TrendMicro, I remember just a couple weeks ago I came in in the morning, and the server had downloaded and distributed a new update, and immediately found and disabled a potentially hazardous new virus that had spread to 75 of our machines across three states. That day I was thankful to TrendMicro because I didn't have to do anything about it in the morning and everything was up and running. that was not the first time TM has saved our collective minds from frustration and time consuming effort, and I doubt fridays incident will repeat itself. I for one will keep the hourly updates running and deployed throughout the organization!
