It looks more and more...
Seems they are "scaling back" another pillar of "Longhorn". It's
looking more and more like Microsoft windows XPSE, everyday.
With the increasing demands on computers (Newer processors,
minimum 512 MB RAM*, 5 GB HDD space, expensive high-end
graphics card), you have to ask. Is it worth it? Will it be enough
of an improvement? Another question is, will they (MS) use
"product activation" to "move" (force) users to upgrade? After all
if your current xp box needs have the OS reinstalled and they
won't activate it, what can you do? For many that would mean
buying a new computer, at a higher price and having to use
longhorn.

* Never trust the minimum specs listesd by MS. Always use at
least twice the RAM they quote.
