As it should be
"Leading the effort are MasterCard International and Visa USA, which are giving major retailers until June 30 to comply with a new set of computer security standards aimed at protecting consumer data. Retailers that don't comply with the Payment Card Industry, or PCI, data security standard may face penalties, including fines."

I like the idea that commerce is cleaning up their own acts. I find this to be much more acceptable than the federal government stepping in with a bunch of laws that usually do more harm than good. The only thing in the statement above that I would like to see cahned or added too "data security standard may face penalties, including fines.(or denied the use of services)"

I see it as eating an apple with a bad spot on it. Cut the bad spot out and enjoy.

Gotta go now I have massive "OBSCENE PROFITS" to collect before this week ends.
