That's too much work, this is much easier. You delete all the files off your hard drive, then make the hard drive a 2nd hard drive in another computer box and just fill it up with music, video's all kinds of stuff until you fill out of the whole hard drive. Then delete that and do it once more.

After then, use a data wiping program with 1 or 2 passes and you should be fine. The most important that is to replace your old data with other stuff like music files, video's etc...
