Place drive on floor; grab sledgehammer and bash drive; mail broken parts to different parts of the globe. Done!

PS -- you should also dispose of supernatural killers this way: should you come across a Jason Vorhees or Freddy Kreuger in your misadventures, slaughter them, dismember them, and mail their body parts to different areas of the universe.
