First, you conveniently overlooked all the stuff that has to be
done first before you can get anything that can affect you on a
Unix system. Then you overlooked the fact that all the damage
will be confined to a user space, as no one would ever do such
silly things in root. You have to work a lot harder to be stupid in
Unix than in Windows.

Next, you assume that there is security through obscurity. Here
is the story of how 12,000 machines were pooched in minutes
by a virus.

So much for needing lots of machines to spread rapidly. The
fact is that Unix based systems are inherently and fundamentally
more secure than Windows. Period.

Finally, you talk about the user friendliness of Windows. Well, if
user friendly is you goal, then pick the computer that wears two
hats: Macintosh. Unix on the inside. The compleat user
interface on the outside.
