Sorry for the sarcasm, The iMac G5 is worth $999 to me, it seems like a nice price point to me, I write mostly server side and only need SSH so a Mac is probably better than a Windows machine for my day to day work. But I'm just not going to pay $1500 for a typical config.

That machine seems like a mass market machine, just like the Mac mini, but at $999 with a few tweaks. The stand looks small,does it fall over if I knock the table? Quick time doesn't do full screen, etc.
