Oh, Grow Up
If you use your computer in a standalone office with no Internet or modem connections, and don't trade floppies with anyone, then you don't have to patch the computer for security purposes. You probably WILL have to patch applications for flaws. Otherwise, regardless of the OS or applications you run, you will patch, or take some risks. Everyone knows that probably even including yeahright. Just likes to see his writing on the Internet ...
