Agreed and NEVER will be
Linick and I do mean ICK is incompatible with so much out there it will NEVER be all inclusive answer. MS started it ALL and MS will ALWAYS be on top. Linux, Apple, whatever. Its like Wal-Mart. Once MS moves all the yelling in the world does not matter. ALL little fry OS systems suffer. Look at the statistics. OBVIOUSLY Windows is the OS of choice. OBVIOUSLY it uses the most advanced technology on the planet. Ease of use is WAY beyond the other OSes. Look at what you have to do JUST to install MANY simple programs out there. A whole set of additional things have to be done to install into a LINUX or APPLE. AND THEN your lucky if it does not conflict. WHY do you think DELL and GATEWAYS and on and on use windows? These arguments are a no win situation for an OUTSIDE OS like Linux and such. They neither have the financial backing, Technological power, Employee backing, nor ability to advance at the rate MS can. Like I always say...get a good firewall, antivirus, and hehe am finding that MS anti-spyware system seems to be rocking THAT part of the software industry...and THEN you MAY have your all inclusive answer. Of course ALL systems are vulnerable. NOTHING is totally secure. As long as you are putting your human fingers on it it can be "broken". Until there is something created that is TOTALLY indestructible...which I do NOT believe will be in ANY of our lifetimes....there IS NO SECURITY. NUFF SAID.
