No problem runing bussines with Linux
I'm runing Linux at home so I don't need apps you need. But here our government actively supports and encourages developers of financial and business apps that are opensource and/or that run on alternative platforms. This is why we have apps that we can use to run busines on Linux or Mac OS. This gives our companies more choice of platform and apps and ensures fair competition instead of vendor lockin. So it looks like your dependance on QuickBooks is your problem.
