Symantec = No Problems?
...then you must own stock or something. We are an IT repair shop for SM business. Symantec 10 Corp Edition (with default settings for client) impacts performance so severely (on anything less than a 2.4G P4) that most clients want it removed....Being unable to user your computer because of a virus - or ANTI-Virus software works out to be the same thing. And NAV for the Desktop? Same complaint, plus many more re: re-installation, lethargic performance, system instability. Remove NAV and install the PC-Cillin 90-day trial......no complaints. As to the efficacy of the two for stopping bad guys? I will leave that up to a product testing lab (or when we have 'spare' time....). All I know is that the few bugs we have seen with PCC versus NAV make the choice obvious....to us and our clients.
