Based on the number of Powerbooks and iBooks you see at hacker conferences like DEFCOM, it would appear that Apple's OS X is fast becoming the operating system of choice among hackers. So there should be plenty of Mac expertise around.

Even so, I would think Windows will continue to be the target of choice for most black hats because of the much higher skill required to successfully attack OSX, UNIX/Linux.

A few years back I attended a security course for Windows/UNIX network administrators. They taught us how to break into a Windows server using a Palm Pilot before lunch on the first day. Fortunately MS security has improved since then, but it is still the easiest target on the net.
