If ignorance is bliss you must be in heaven.
>>>Before anyone tells us how wonderful Firefox is because the flaw "has already been fixed", I would like to ask: How LONG has this flaw been there to begin with?<<<

Since you want to talk about serious flaws, tell us, how many serious flaws has MS has for over two years? Tell us about your 'wonderful' browser

>>>Just because they only tell us when they actually fix it does not mean the flaw has not been there for a long time already.<<<

Flaws that have not been exploited are really moot. How many 'flaws' in IE have not been exploited? Better yet, how many have?

>>>Also, we are supposed to believe the drivel that Firefox is unbelievably, wonderfully, more secure than IE, yet 7 "highly severe" vs IE's 9 "highly severe" vulnerabilities most certainly does not instill the image of a secure browser at all.<<<

Just think, in 10 years MS has been able to keep the number of known flaws down to slightly less than a browser that was just officially released and is in its first version. MS is really on its toes, right? Hey, maybe in another 10 years MS will be able to get its flaws down to 8. You think?

>>>Give me a break! If you want to get me to switch for "security" reasons, 7 vs 9 just ain't cuttin it, if you know what I'm saying.<<<

What makes you think anyone wants you change? Really, nobody really gives a rat's behind if you switch.

>>>Especially since the FF developers and FF huggers have such a superiority attitude about it.<<<

Do you mean the attitude and arrogance like you have about IE? Nah, don't think so. Only an anti-freedom MS zealot has the attitude you display.

>>>Yes, I have had all the UI candy features FF has right here in IE (like tabbed browsing, mouse gestures, grouped favorites, etc by using the Maxthon add-on, so I'm certainly not missing out on anything).<<<

Just shows MS and friends is still good at doing what they have always has done...copy everyone else. No innovation at all. Just steal, copy or steal.

>>> Oh, and zero virusses(sic) or spyware since I keep my system up to date.<<<

Keep telling yourself that. Wonderful thing about he internet. Its anonymous so its easy to lie. But tell us how many hours per day do you spend trying to keep your MS box that way? How much does it cost you? I've never has a virus on my Linux box. Betcha I didn't spend nearly as much time or money to keep it that way as you did.

>>>Sorry, FF failed it's test, and I think it would only get worse as it meets the real world<<<

I hate to be the one to inform you of this but MS failed the 'real world' test long ago. It has not improved any since.

Its amazing how much time MS zealots spend apologizing for their systems just to prove to themselves it is worth all the time and expense to maintain an MS box. Just wondering, when do you think MS will be ready for the internet? I just did a search on netcraft for .microsoft.com. Out of 394 sites found the first 100 were listed as Linux as the OS. I got tired of looking at that point. For someone that condemns Linux MS certainly seems to depend heavily on it. Wonder why that is?
