Missing the point.

I am altering the site with software on my computer for my benefit only. The site is, of corse not altered at source. How this constitutes an infringement of copyright, I cannot see. It is exactly the same as my mutilating a book I own, in the privacy of my own home. Doesn't matter where I bought the implements, it's my property, so there. However, if I tried to resell it in that condition...

BUT I'M NOT REPUBLISHING THE SITE. It is for my eyes only.

It strikes me that the "worries" expressed about copyright on this site are from commercially oriented websites pissed off about their ads being blocked. Look, the sort of people using this software are the sort of people who ignore your ads anyway, so stop worrying, it's not going to make a blind bit of notice.

The only concerns are the security ones. Address those please.
