Operating systems protect against stupidity?
Interesting points for sure. Question: When a person does
something unwittingly does that make them dumb? I would
think not. When any OS has been known to allow such things to
happen but doesn't fix the issue from again happening then it
may be the fault of the OS.

When a person does something stupid it indicates they knew
better but did it still (often called dumb). Then again when a
person does something but is ignorant of any negative
consequences it indicates they didn't know better (perhaps they
should have).

Is it possible when a person uses a known faulty product both
the parties are at fault? If so the user of the faulty product
shouldn't complain about the outcome and the product
manufacturer should be held accountable.
