Hmm.. Didn't this vulnerabilty emerge
a couple of months ago?

I checked for OSX 10.2.8 with Safari 1.03 and there wasn't a problem.

"I don't know enough about it, but it may be that older versions of Safari don't support IDN and so aren't vulnerable."
