Would still rather just 5 people coming to break into my house..
..over 5 million! The "argument" that people should just stay with IE because eventually other browsers will succumb to the same nonsense is such crap, and an obvious testament to how far someone will go to stay mired in the Microsoft diaper.
And I'd love for someone to actually give me a real-world example of the hackings of other browsers, instead of the usual "it really is happening, take our word for it".
Even if Firefox begins to be targeted, I'd still much rather face a less of a threat than more..no? Of course the Microsoftians won't even attempt to think that far, as they might realize that they possibly could be forced to think and fend for themselves. As we all know, common sense and logic never stood in the way of a Microsofter. They remind me of the "war on terror" luzers. No thinking, no questioning, just do as your told, even if it's to your complete detriment.

"Oddly, IE does not support IDN.."

Not odd in the least bit. There are tons of modeern day features missing from the IE dinosaur. But Microsoft will never get it right..like usual..oomph! happy
