I run windows behind a NAT router
Why would you want to aggravate yourself with all of linux short comings, when you can put windows behind a NAT router? You can get them for $40 and save on all that time looking for driver.tar.gz. Not only that if your computer is under attack it doesn't slow down. The router is taking the punishment.
