Don't worry...

... you'll be happy to know that each computer sold will arrive with its copy of Windows so thoroughly engraved into the hardware that no one could remove it without a blowtorch and residency-level training in open-heart surgery.

If you're so worried about something happening to your copy of Windows, perhaps you should consider not dual booting at all? Why take chances with "precious"?


But seriously, given all the old applications and home-crafted software around, I'm sure provision will be made for running insecure software on a computer. You'll probably be able to get even another operating system started after only a few popups forcing you to take full responsibility by clicking on the "Okay" button. (The last popup will read, "Don't say we didn't warn you.")
