Gates takes them down the DRM path and fails to sell online music or video because of it, even with Walmarts backing the customers don't want it.

Meanwhile Apple turns down the DRM and takes the online music market from them and AllofMP3.com drops it to zero and even managed to overcome the stigma of being a Russian site!

If Gates told them to put their heads in a fire would they do it? Oh right, they have no choice.
