Expert: Better ID checks won't beat fraud

2-Factor, PLUS 2-Way Authentication: While the reality is that 2-factor authentication is not enough, it can be argued that 2-way authentication (also being 2-factor) adds an important extra layer.

With 2-way authentication, phishing via spoofed sites, and even stolen DNS (as in the case of pharming) can easily be protected against.

Without getting into a sales pitch, we have such a solution available today.
