A couple corrections
The article stated the machines that were infected were Windows 2000 and pre-SP2 XP machines. SP2 was a part of the Trusted Computing Initiative and appears to be working. How convenient you left that out since it didn't fit your rant.

"People who are enthusiastic about an OS developped by hundreds of thousands of people, in collaboration, are not pushing a corporate agenda."

Where to begin here? First the Linux OS is not written and maintained by hundreds of thousands of programmers. The kernel is controlled by a small group of people. Why is it you guys want to claim that all of the OSS code is part of Linux when it suits you but when it's a Virus in an application then it is not part of Linux!

Last time I checked, Linux distros are published by corpoarations. What do you think Redhat, IBM and Novell are? To imply that there is something nobler about Linux because there is no corporate agenda is so naive it almost doesn't deserve a response.

The Burst story was on ZDnet before you ever started your rant despite your claim that it hadn't appeared.

There seems to be no limit to the tatics a Linux fanatic will go to support their opinion. Omitting key facts, making up others and out right lies are all part of their bag of tricks to promote the corporate sponser of Linux!
