Self-interest anyone? Now if only Senators' kids were maimed and killed every time these protected cushy bastards send everyone else's kids off to die for no good reason. Suddenly I'd imagine American imperialism dying off real quick.
I too fear ominous anti-consumer legislation coming out of this. It will be slipped in to some baloney terror bill, and will go something like "businesses need to hold even more customer or else the terrorists win"-type brainless nonsense. All the Republiturd party faithful will cheer this next advance of big government against the people, while they cross themselves so they are "blessed" and "saved", they'll wipe the blood from their mouths, and then scream how we need to bomb all muslims, whether they deserve it or not, whether they have WMDs or not..
