eBay scrambles to fix phishing bug

Baloney!

You mean to tell me ebay have criminal sellers? No way! Also, there are tons of sellers (so called certified ebay sellers) that refuse to use only their third party transaction vendors to receive you money for the auction. How is Mr & Ms buyer suppose to know what is legitimate or not?

Ebay needs serious over-sight and control. Something happens and they hide with blanket statements, "we are not a true auction business." Try to report questionable sellers and they ignore it. They place locks on accounts of innocent people without reason (I've witnessed several). And they re-instate corrupt sellers without warning or question. They are very biased on removing inappropriate feedback left from sellers. This company and business needs serious oversight... I'll agree there are alot of legitimate sellers and businesses on there, but it's the corrupt handful that will get you!
