Gotta disagree
Virtually every society has/had laws forbidding damaging,stealing or otherwise usurping the property rights of said society's citizenry. This includes Communist China and the then Soviet Union.
I certainly won't argue the fact that those with sufficient means could (and often have) circumvent those laws. However, that has never been considered by society (as a whole) to be just cause for others breaking those same laws for revenge. In ancient societies the "average man" had little legal recourse and extra-legal actions led to jail if not death. Society (in general) has evolved to permit legal remedies against "governments, businesses and the rich and powerful ". While not always successful, seeking legal remedy has also not been entirely unsuccessful (e.g. Enron, MCI WorlCom, ITT).

My position stands, the person(s) responsible deserve punishment and SCO's behavior should be handled by legal means.

Feel free to boycott their products, raise objections to their behavior in a loud, clear voice, write your (or their) government representatives and take any other legal action you deem appropriate, but don't make the mistake of allowing your disdain of SCO to excuse blatant vigilantism.
