I posit that you have a vested interest in holding back progress (maybe you work for SCO, Microsoft or SUN).

Linux is developed in the full scrutiny of the online community - nothing else is quite so publicly exposed. If you were going to steal somwthing (as is alleged of the Linux development community), wouldn't you choose a time and place that wasn't quite so public?

SCO has been proven NOT to be under any type of attack, as all evidence suggests that their problem is internal and not related to anything outside their own LAN. Check out Groklaw (www.groklaw.net) for a REAL explanation.
