I would restrict them only in terms of a legitimate vs
ill-legitimate claim. I lean towards the ancient laws
myself..clean and simple. If a builder of a house makes a home
for a man and the house is made poorly so that it collapses and
kills the owner the builder also dies. If the collapse kills the
owners wife the builder's wife dies. If a collapse kills the owners
children then the builders child dies. I tend to bet that people
went to extremes to do a job right back in the day. Ah the good
old days, and responsibility. I'll be the old days had some cool
laws where ill-legitimate claims were concerned as well....:)
