2003 doesn't like talking to a 2k DC. Sometimes you can see the domain & sometimes not. Groups go missing every now and then. User accounts have problems getting enumerated from groups.

2003 doesn't like talking to 2k DNS. Doesn't always automatically update its self or complains about DNS timeout while others servers work fine.

Joining a domain takes you 45-60 minutes. Online activation doesn't always work (can say if it because MS activation servers are not reachable at times).

Finally, you need to give bloody explainations on why you want to shut it down!
