Holee Software Batman!
Seems to me that, in their effort to maintain
world dominance in the software market,
Microsoft is indeed responsible for marketing
software that cannot and will not be made secure
by the average user. Microsoft continues to
distribute "holee" software, and they have not
demonstrated a willingness to adequately deal
with the problems that their insecure software.
They should be held responsible! As Linux and
the other "nixes" become more popular, the
developers of those platforms will have to take
on that responsibility too. At least the "nixes"
offer security updates that are, for the most
part timely and effective. Can Microsoft
honestly make the same claim? I don't think it
will be much longer before the internet will
become a very dangerous place, if it already
isn't. Woe to the bulk of internet users, for
their's is the kingdom of hell!
