Making purchases, banking, etc online...
Is great for people who are disabled & know a bit about IT security or have someone (friend, family member who's into security) explain to disabled people about phishing scams, not to open e mail attachments from unknown sources, etc.

Even though I run Zone Alarm Security Suite, spyware/malware/adware detectors, and use Firefox for 95% of my web surfing, I still go to the bank to do my banking & go to the malls, etc. to shop as I have 2 good legs & need the excercise, so there is no reason (for me) to do online banking, shopping, etc.

IMHO...people have come to rely on their computers for just about everything & most, e.g. online banking, etc. is not required.
