Of course there is. Software just becomes MORE difficult
(but NOT impossible) to secure as its connectivity, features,
and complexity become larger.

statements from the crooks (copyright infringers) that say
ANY software can be hacked..."

Link to these "crooks" and we'll start a discussion. How can
you say any software can be hacked, for example how is
the C "hello world" program hackable.

MS has to do something about their pathetic software
security model. For example, turn ActiveX OFF and improve
the code of IE to defeat spyware. Kill viruses by allowing
administrators to PROHIBIT enduser running any software
not installed by an administrator.

The complexity of modern operating systems make security
difficult. Having always on internet connections puts these
systems in-touch with potentially millions of people who
would like to do wrong. But this does NOT make security
impossible, it simply makes security critical.
