Yes but..
..although there never will be fully secured software, nonetheless, it is healthy to strive for perfection, or else one can fall into the "well, I guess it's good enough now" hole.
Likewise, we always are telling ourselves that we should be the best, but of course no one can be perfect. However, by trying to be we get as close as possible to it. I believe this is what was meant.

I am curious about your take on this Bit. Don't you think Microsoft getting into the security business is the most ultimate conflict of interest? Why should they try to make Windows better now, when this would cut into their new firewall/anti-virus/anti-spyware business?
Moreover, we know companies, Microsoft especially, to be a bit less than ethical. What's to stop them from actually starting to send out viruses/trojans of their own, in order to beef up their new business division, a la the fireman who torches a forest to get mucho overtime?..
