Axe obviously never heard of safety critical systems
You do know what a safety critical system is, don't you Axe? For one thing it's a system that is NEVER, EVER implemented on the Windows platform. If safety critical software failes, people die, and it makes the news. Quite obviously, since we are not hearing about safety critical systems failing every week, in the same way that Windows security exploits appear, it is safe to assume thatthere IS such a thing as secure software. Since I've only ever worked in the fields of safety and business critical suystems (for which reason I've never had to suffer and endure a Windows programming enviroment), you're simply baging the Microsoft drum again. After having changed the subject that is ... the subject is the fact that the stream of Windows exploits is absolutely endless. YOu like to stand on a tub and promote mouldy pies with the anti-biotics already mised in to the filling? Fine. You evidently settele easily for an inferior solution. The endless stream of Windows exploits IS having an effect on the end user's perception, and most end users would not *willingly( buy mouldy food into which stomach medicine has been pre-mixed ... especially when that "medicine" can't stop the endless stream of new virus, it can only treat the ones that already killed your mates.
