I disagree with "I agree with" (but only partly)
I'll have to diusagree here.
While it may seem "convenient" to bundle your saftey apps, it also makes them more difficult to test and update properly.

One of the things that has to remain in balance is "functionality vs. vulnerability".
Even AV/spyware/malware apps can be hijacked given the right(?) motivation and skills.
