No, of course not.
But it would have enabled them to know where people were. (ie: We now have 20 in the library. Now 2 left the library. Now 2 went back in.)

Also, (if the system was capable of this) they could see how many were left in the school if there was an evacuation, and where they were.


General question for everyone: Those who have ID Badges for work; would you mind if they RFID'd them and had locators/receivers in doorways to all the areas?
