Stupid Whiners
As long as the range stays under 2-4 inches and it transmit nothing more than a unique identifier (no more than 64 bits). The privacy concern should be more focused on who gets at the database that the keys link to.

My work RFID key does't even store Unique IDs to usable data. It only has an encrypted security code that isn't integrated to anything (might be more of a cost factor though).
