And you trust these folks to administer laws fairly and competently?
A lot of people are calling for national regulations, even UN oversight, over the web and technology in general. Reports like this show the folly of using the blunt instrument of gov't to administer, adjudicate and establish legislated standards. Politics, buearacacy and technology are a combustible mixture and the big bang is not what we want in this space. If the FBI or CIA can not find Osama and his gang then how well will they deal with targets that are not so tangible? This report syas it all, this has been going on year after year -- there is no excuse.
