I love it
On the one hand you have the ABMers who were horrified at the prospect that MS would sell a product to fix w1Nbl0w$. After all, win$uX is terrible because you have to pay so much for 3rd party tools to keep you safe, ignoring the fact that there are ALREADY free anti-virus, anti-spyware tools for those who don't know how to compute safely.

Now it turns out that this WILL be provided for free (which doesn't affect me in the slightest because I already use free anti-virus) and the ABMers are now horrified that m1Cr0$lop is putting anti-virus companies out of business. Absolutely hilarious! happy

Embrace, extend, give away for free, destroy company. The MS way.

What standard did they embrace related to anti-virus software? Once you can name the standard, how did the 'extend' it so other anti-virus products wouldn't work anymore (the 'extinguish' bit)? I'll be waiting for your answers!
