I agree exactly
Most productive users really don't care too much about how the computer does it as long as it does. That is probably why until recently most productive power users who need to get the job done dug deeper into their pockets and bought a Mac. Now they're on the edge of having a less expensive alternative, Linux.

As far as not knowing they were using windows well, it looks the same doesn't it, compare W3.0 to XP...

The rest of the computer users who have a choice use windows because it came with the computer. They probably don't even know they have an alternative.

Business users of course use what the corporate choose as standard. There are many corporate's still using green text screens, they do the job and do it well.
