Whos is going to foot the bill?
MS should be charged for all the cost for the Internet lost bandwidth, downtimes and general unavailability of systems and services caused by these viruses.

MS is making it EXTREMELY EASY for anyone with a little time in their hand to start spreading annoying or desctructive viruses. Worse yet, it allows viruses to quickly usurp the various PCs and render them as virus broadcast centers.

Ofcourse the people who deploy this types of shoddy s/w has a major part of the fault.

Nevertheless, suppose one is buying a fancy, shinny car that from time to time goes bazurk and start ramming other cars in the highway, creating huge piles of cars that congest them. Whoever operates or drives via, the highway should follow common sense and NOT allow these types of screwy vehicles on the road.

Does anybody recall the Firestone tires? At least this copmany recalled and replaced the faulty tores for free and was liable for damages. It is incomprehensible that companies may get away with all these low quality products for SUCH a LONG time. This protectionism is anti-social and anti-capitilistic.
