i wonder how long those two companies have been sitting on that code waiting for a fix to come out.

and then microsoft has the nerve to criticize them for releasing the info on the same day as the patch? preposterous!!

those companies should respond by letting everyone know what the timeline for this has been.

it's time for the IT community to stop coddling microsoft and hoping to be in the giant's good graces. it's time to start doing what is best for the greater good.

it's time to start letting everyone know what is really going on in the software industry. and zdnet should help those companines' response by doing a special update on this story.
