My Windows box has never been infected
Not entirely true. I did infect it once just out of curiosity but that was my choice and I was in control. Besides that I've never gotten a virus. Reams of spam and spyware but no viruses. I fight a decent battle with spyware, keeping at bay but never eliminating it entirely.

I'm a tech though. I can run Linux just as easily as Windows. Personally though if I hear someone having troubles with Windows I suggest MAC.

XP Home is the bane of my existance. I hate that OS! Nothing but problems for the users I know. XP PRO just works well, none of the hardware problems that XP home has. Windows 2000 I find works the best of all three.

Most people I know hate Microsoft but it's love hate kind of relationship. They love thier outlook but hate what outlook does to them.
