- Well I am not a newbie ...
- And I just got hit with a Windows virus a few days ago (I use do use Windows on occasion for some things), but I have never ever gotten a Linux virus. I also know quite a few relative newbies who use Macs and I never ever hear of them getting viruses. So I guess I really don't understand your question. It is somehow like just because Windows has a monopoly share of the desktop it is supposed to be excused for all its faults. It ignores the obvious.
