M$ should buy Norton
DUMB! That would ruin the product. Symantec does a very good job with their security products. Their client security product is fantastic and blocks most spyware. What it doesn't catch, spybot and the like do.

As every good security company, including Symantec, constantly says: These are now blended threats. No one tool will stop everything regardless of OS.
