Fixes were out less than 12 hours from the time the flaw was reported.

You could get one of the new nightly builds that already corrects the problem here.
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-aviary1.0.1/

This one requires a little text editing and has only been used on XP boxen.
