Spamming Started With Lawyers
The first spammers were immigration lawyers. So as is usual, lawyers found a "Gray area" that was legal, but not moral thatthey could exploit for profit. Regarding your contention that Earthlink was the worst spammer, I never received one piece of spam from earthlink. In fact, if someone was spamming from earthlink, they were dicsonnected. No questions. Perhaps that happened to you?
